On Tuesday, the clergy of the Diocese of Maryland gathered at the Cathedral of the Incarnation for The Holy Eucharist with Renewal of Ministry Vows and the Consecration of Chrism. Holy Week is a busy time for us all, especially our clergy. Taking time to renew vows gives our clergy the opportunity to reconnect with their calls to ministry to be strengthened for the week. This annual service is also a time for our clergy to gather in community, share the Eucharist, a meal, stories, and spend a little time with our bishop. It’s a time to embrace the Community of Love.
