At ESC Maryland, living in community embraces all aspects of sharing the ups and downs of life over the course of a year, including work, play, prayer, reflection, learning, and personal transformation. ESC Maryland fosters a radical sense of community that is more than the young adults living in the house. It’s the neighborhood, the city, the worksites, the diocese and its congregations, it’s the ESC-MD circle of alumni who hold the program in prayer, and it’s the network of other young adults in year-of service programs across Baltimore. Recently, ESC-MD was featured in social media posts for the national ESC organization. Check out what the highlights of ESC-MD from Episcopal Service Corps!
