TUESDAY CONTEMPLATIVE EUCHARIST

Join us at Noon on Tuesdays virtually or in person at the Cathedral of the Incarnation to celebrate a short service of Holy Eucharist followed by Centering Prayer. Centering Prayer is a contemplative practice that will help you move beyond thoughts and emotions into quiet communion with God. Our service of Holy Eucharist is streamed live, our Centering Prayer time is not.

Contemplative Eucharist: Noon-12:30 PM
Centering Prayer: 12:30-1:15 PM

Those who attend in person may attend either the Eucharist, the Centering Prayer time or both; together they provide a refreshing midday break for soul and spirit. Note: We provide brief instruction for those who are new to this spiritual practice.

LAMBETH CONFERENCE FORUM WITH BISHOP SUTTON

August 10, 10:00-11:30 AM
St. John’s, Ellicott City

Bishop Sutton is just back from the 2022 Lambeth Conference in Canterbury, England, which followed on the heels of the 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Baltimore. His time with our siblings in the Anglican Communion was rewarding and hopeful, despite our many differences across cultures. We are pleased that Bishop Sutton will offer a forum on his experiences and learnings at Lambeth this Wednesday, August 10 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at St. John’s, Ellicott City in the historic church and invites you to join him, in person or virtually.
