Junior Warden, Church of the Holy Nativity, Baltimore

An entirely new form of ministry was presented to us at the mission Church of the Holy Nativity in the Park Heights neighborhood of Baltimore. Digital Waves, a project of the Digital Harbor Foundation, proposed erecting on the roof of Holy Nativity an antennae that would provide free wi-fi to 75 residents of the neighborhood. This is one of a number scattered around the City.  In a time when access to the internet is essential for at-home learning for school children, this seemed like a particularly useful and important thing to do. And it is a reminder that wi-fi access is no longer a luxury but a necessity that should be provided to everyone.
