Archdeacon of the Diocese of Maryland, the Ven. Ruth Elder (R), serves at the Friday, July 8 Eucharist at the 80th General Convention in Baltimore

The chair and co-vice chairs of the Presiding Bishop’s Worship Committee for the 80th General Convention offer their greetings and insight into the planning process for the eight distinctive liturgies that were to have taken place at General Convention before it was scaled back for COVID safety reasons. Our own Rev. Ramelle McCall, rector of Holy Trinity, Baltimore and urban missioner for our diocese has served faithfully these past three years along with the Rev. Mark Furlow, canon to the ordinary in the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia and the Rev. Yein Kim, parish associate of St. Athanasius Episcopal Church at the Cathedral Center of St. Paul. We thank them for their hard work. Listen and get a taste for the incredible liturgy that takes place at our General Conventions.

Application process opens for General Convention 2021 Worship Committee members, Episcopal Church Office of Public Affairs, August 29, 2019
