It is with great sorrow and in the hope of the resurrection that we share that Larry Mack, longtime sexton at our diocesan center and Cathedral of the Incarnation, Baltimore, died in his home over the weekend. His cheerful “hello,” his faithful work in setting up spaces, his passion for Baltimore sports teams, his sense of humor, and his unflagging commitment to his work will be dearly missed. Please keep his family, especially his brothers Alvin “Slim” and Ronald in your prayers. Condolences may be sent to the diocesan center at 4 East University Parkway, Baltimore, MD 21218 to be passed along to his family.
Rest eternal grant your servant Larry, O Lord: And let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Grant, O Lord, to all who are bereaved the spirit of faith and courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness and patience; not sorrowing as those without hope, but in thankful remembrance of your great goodness, and in the joyful expectation of eternal life with those they love. And this we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
