The 240th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland met November 8-9 at the Claggett Center in Adamstown, MD, with more than 275 lay delegates, clergy, and other attendees present. Convention business sessions took place in the Claggett Center’s Delaplaine Barn, and many delegates stayed overnight in the Christiane Inn and cottages on Claggett’s campus.

Convention delegates elected committee and council members along with clergy and lay deputies to The Episcopal Church General Convention, and approved Resolution 2024-01, which determines clergy and lay compensation for 2025. The complete report from the 240th Convention can be found below, including video of addresses from Bishop Carrie Schofield-Broadbent, a report of those elected to leadership, the text of Resolution 2024-01, and resources provided by Bishop Carrie.
